For PC gamers who can't afford to continuously upgrade their computer it's not a bad idea if it actually works. I'm assuming it'll be something like $50 a year to stream a video of the PC game to your computer and depending on your computer speed the quality is lower or higher.
On the other hand, it came out a bit too late if you ask me. I'm one who would never use it regardless as I don't like PC games or digital downloads, however if they did this quite some time ago then I can agree with the idea. However nowdays all you have to do is go buy almost any pre built computer on the market and you can more than likely play any PC game available.

I played Just Cause 2 with this on my laptop (got the email and played it in demo time). It was pretty choppy at times and you can tell that the video has been heavily compressed. I'm not sure if they are still working bugs out but they will have to refine this a lot more if they want to stay in business. The fact that I was playing Just Cause 2 maxed out on my 3 year old laptop was pretty amazing though.

And why is that? It's great for people who do not feel like continuously upgrading their PC's just to play some High End games. Granted it's still Beta so I am not expecting the best of the best service but if they can really fix it up and make it work it has potential.
Don't knock it till you've tried it..

People in Hell are there to be punished. Sending something as great as OnLive would be giving them a sweet reward.

It's also great for people who don't want to own anything in physical form or have the most fundamental freedom to do what they wish with that which they've paid for. Hooray for the future!

I tried it at e3 and it was actually really pretty sweet. If I had FIOS or something I'd give it more love.
Didn't look at price though... and they have no plan to offer it in Canada so I'm SOL anyway.
I admit I was shocked at the performance. In a good way.
