I can't WAIT for this thing! In addition to the Animal Crossing & Pokemon cards, there are CLASSIC NES GAMES! Plus, the best of all...

GAME & WATCH GAMES!!!

The 5 NES games available at launch will be:
Donkey Kong Jr.
Balloon Fight
Excitebike
Tennis
Pinball

I know of 1 Game & Watch game for the e-Reader so far: Manhole. Anybody know of any others?

No idea, but I just hope they somehow come out with a highcapacity card for future bigger games....

Got mine reserved :D

I prefer playing Game And Watch Gallery on the GBC instead. You get more G&W games (including unlockables) plus updated versions of some of them. Well worth it if you find those games.

I probly won't get the game & Watches since I've never been a fan of them, but I'm all over those NES games.

Anyone have a good site about the e-card reader & Games? PRices, release dates, screen shot, INPUT!!!

BTW, $45.00 seems VERY Expensive. I don't see this thing going ANYWHERE unless it gets a LOT of pokemon stuff to get it out to the masses. I know everyone reading this loves NES games, but most people with a GBA just don't give a damn.

Yup. Even though the sales will have it clock in at $39.99, the prime market is gonna be the card-collecting-crowd, since the card reader greatly decreases the overall "portability" of the unit. Plane ride: GBA+cart=Pac-Man Collection, not GBA+reader+several cards=three screen DK. ;)

I don't know about the other packs, but the NES games will be $5.00 each. They look great, by the way. More games are coming out a few months from now.

And there WILL be a lot of Pokemon stuff...a new expansion for the card game will have the neat little feature of minigames on some of the cards...

I'm just thinking.... For $45, plus $5 PER game... Why wouldn't I just get a Flash ROM for $150?

Granted it's a LOT more, but I already have all the ROM's for free. and when I bore of one set of games, I just get some more.... I just think nintendo's trying to milk it just a little TOO much...

I know. I'm not willing to spend $150-$200 for a GBA Backup either :)

for $50 you can get a 64mbit Flash card and linker that will hold 1-2 GBA games (though won't fit newer 128mbit games like Golden Sun 2) or over 300 NES games elumated threw PocketNES.. Thats a better deal..

Lan Kwei has a great deal on F2A linkers right now. For reference Golden sun and Duke Nukem Advance are 64mbit games. Squaresoft GBA games are expected to be 128-256mbit. http://www.lan-kwei.com/gbaE/

64 mbit Cart only $39.00(with linking cable) $59.00
128mbit Cart only $69.00 (/wlinker) $83.00
256mbit Cart only $107.00 (/w linker) $125.00

I have a 256Mbit Xtreme USB linker that I got at Lik-Sang.com, I wouldn't recommend the Visoly Xtreme linkers to anyone as mine died within days and Lik-sang wouldn't give a refund only exchange.

256Mbit is actually 32meg and I have pogoshell, 4 GBA games and 60 of my fav NES games on it.

If you haven't seen pogoshell its a free Operating system for the GBA.

With PocketSMS almost working and Splam! C64 Emulator for the GBA soon.. It's so worth it at twice as much.
