Not quite sure, but if you can get it for under 5 bucks, does it really matter? :) It has to have some practical video game application - or at least it looks like it does. The instructions look like they're in some asian language, though, so it could be some sort of imported thing.

It allows the Super Grafx to play in tandem with PC Engine CD and Super CD Rom2 consoles. The Super Grafx has no place for CD's, but with the Rau-30 you can hook it up to a PC Engine CD interface unit, or a Super CD Rom2 attachment.
