Jett Rocket just came out a few days ago, and I do know that there was a lot of hype surrounding the game. I can clearly see why, given the excellent graphics that rival even those of Super Mario Galaxy. My impressions after viewing the videos for it was that it looks pretty enjoyable for an indie project. But, is it really worth the ten dollars Nintendo wants for it? From what I heard, it's incredibly short and consists of 3 worlds (with multiple levels). Given my experience with platformers, I should have it in the bag after 3-4 hours of play...so I don't want to be left with that guilty feeling of "I shouldn't have done that" again. I do hear there's bonus challenges and awards...how are those as far as upgrading the replay value goes?

I was also thinking of getting one of the new Mega-Man games. Judging from previous experiences, I'm going to guess that they're very difficult. Knowing Nintendo's "smart" moves towards casual players these days- are the toughness dials tuned down a bit? MegaMans 9 and 10 look similar- which one is more or less better?

Thanks!

Doesn't 10 have an easy mode available while 9 doesn't? I haven't played them so someone else will have to confirm this.

Yeah 10 has an easy mode.

And if you've got a 360 it is going to be on sale on the 5th for 400 pts ($5). I've been waiting for this drop so I'll be picking it up.

Dude, just go buy Megaman 9 already.

Everything about that game screams retro goodness and well worth the thousand pennies dropped on it ten times over.

Megaman 10 (as my friend would say).....meh.

Megaman 10 (as my friend would say).....meh.
Agreed. That game seemed to singlehandedly turn the series into one unfunnny joke, and the music was probably the worst out of all the 8-bit titles.
Gameplay was alright, but still... meh.
Don't even get me started on 10's "challenge" levels... what a disappointment.

I loved 10, far far better and more accessible then the "Lets make this insane" Mega man 9.
