Your Favourite Genesis game

I am just wondering what genesis games were most memorable.

Earthworm Jim 1,2
Was crazy zany and had an awesome sound track. Levels were very fun and just really unforgettable.

Mortal Kombat 1,2,3
Well mk 1 was one of my first games I played and just loved the gore and fatalities. The levels were awesome and I love scorpion and sub-zero.

Sonic the hedgehog 1,2,3
Well who did not love this game. Fast and just plain fun. The levels had multiple "floors" and there were secret levels and power ups.

Jurassic Park
Well I loved the movie and the game was just really challenging for me. And the fact you could be a raptor was pure win. There were loads of diffrent weapons to choose from and the levels were all unique.

The lion king
Well I was young when I played it and it was very enjoyable. Very colourful and the music was "happy"

Splatterhouse1,2
One word THE GORE. What kid did not love to see gruesome monsters and loads of blood and guts. The level end bosses were gross and awesome. the game was really hard and the music just added to the creepy mansion.

Splatterhouse1,2

The first Splatterhouse wasn't on the Genesis, 2 and 3 were on the Genesis. I do like the Splatterhouse games though. :)

My single favorite Genesis game is probably Shining Force. The gameplay never gets old and I love the dark style the original. Awesome Genesis sounding music to top it off.

PSP you mean. I rarely make topics about the PS3 or PS3 games. And I've yet to make 20 threads on what your favorite PSP game is.

Castlevania Bloodlines is my favorite though.

Darius II- arcade port but very good on the old Genny
Rainbow Islands Extra - Megadrive, but still Genesis outside of the US
New Zealand Story - again Megadrive
Thunder Force 3 and 4

I don't know if I have a definitive favorite, but I would probably narrow it down to Shining Force, Shining Force 2, and Monster World IV.

Another vote for Shining Force! Shining Force II was good, just not as good.
