Turbo grafx 16 white screen problem

Bought a "flea market special" turbo grafx system and all I get is the white screen when trying to play a game. I know the games work because I have another system that works with no problems. I already used contact cleaner and re-heated the pins on the hu card connector with a soldering iron.

Edit: Just soldered a game straight to the pins and still have a white screen... Looks like something internal either fried or died.
