That good huh? I've heard from various media sources that their initial play thrus and connection speeds were above average with a multitude of games. I've been following this one closely to see how it all pans out. I still don't think it will impact console games very much(if at all) but I wanted to see what kind of progress(if any) it makes.

I have 8mb/s that should be more than enough to at least connect to the damn thing.

Also I honestly doubt even higher internet speed would help as they have stated that they do not support wireless connections. So I gather that means I have to unplug my "wireless" router and connect directly to my IP. The 4 other people I live with ain't gonna be happy about that!

Funny thing is they mentioned none of that till after my credit card information was locked into their system to get a free year. If they charge my credit and i'm locked in with no way to edit the info, well, everyone just be cautious with this experiment, some people are gonna get burned i'm afraid. There is no way to edit my account from the website! I must be able to load into their "system" which I can't even do!

I feel fucked even before entering the gate.

mine said that as well, I proceeded, and played about 15 min of borderlands demo with no issues whatsoever. Borderlands loaded faster then it would have if I ran it from the pc. Yes the resolution was not as high, but overall was decent. The games available atm are lacking, the prices as well. I dont see this flying as a service.

Throughput and latency on wireless is always an issue with any streaming service. You can't blame them for that.

I'd be trying it out again if the bastards offered it in Canada. Then again, I don't PC game - I play on the 360 more than anything for recent titles... so I'll probably never use it anyway.

You don't need to unplug the router. Your router has hard-wired ports. Just plug the wire into there, and into your computer, and turn the wireless card on the computer off.
