Found a lot on craig's list in the area, need a decent price to throw him for the whole thing that's cheap enough to make some money but not so low it's insulting. What do you guys think this lot is worth?

What's he asking for it? I'd throw him an offer around $250, depending on the condition of the stuff. Some of it seems to be damanged as well. NGPC and Virtual Boy are definitely the best inds here, as well as some of the systems, but most of the games are junk.

This is the kind of posts I ignore on craigslist. Usually sellers who are that detailed in lists and condition want top dollar. I prefer taking a chance on a grab bag type of deal. I would say the lot as a whole is probably more trouble than its worth. Considering most of the games are junk and there are many condition and functionality issues. The virtual boy and neo geo are really the only things worth the time. Maybe the ps2 stuff as well, but it would have to be cheap. I just dont see a lot of profit to be made here, over what a fair offer would be. Now if some of this is for you to keep, it may be different.

Yeah, he's probably going to want way more than what it's worth. I've had a PS2 w/ about as many games as he has listed there up on CL for $100 and can't sell it.

As others have said, the Virtual Boy is the only "money" item there (the NGPC stuff is nice, but I don't think it's worth more than $50). Most of the games listed are $5 or less, so it would be tought to make any money off reselling them.

Bleh, I threw him an offer and he responded back with this.

"Ill hopefully have pics up soon I've been offered 600 I think that's about 50% what they are worth. Though I doubt ill get 100%"

Six hundred, yeah maybe if you piece it all out you'll get that. But definitely not for one conglomerate lot.

If you look at the lot from the viewpoint of a person that wants them to play then you never know, maybe he was offered that much. If you're looking to buy them for the sole purpose of reselling them then I wouldn't bother, there's nothing in the lot that jumps out at me.

Wait a week or so and see if he gets back to you saying that the deal fell through.

$600 seems a bit unrealistic. I think he's bluffing.

Most surely.

He's probably trying to throw a high price, in case wingzrow throws something higher.

I bet he will contact wingzrow again later in the week, either accepting his offer or asking a price similar to wingzrow's price.
