My collection ends with Issue #33, February 2001. Was that the last one, or did GR limp along for a few more months?

After February 2001, the magazine didn't come out for several months. Then a revamped issue came out in July 2001, looking sort of like the forthcoming Play. But it never came out again after that.

The incredibly embarrassing truth is that I don't know if there was a March '03 issue, since I'm not sure what issues my VGU articles go into. (It's my only gig for which I don't have to state specific issues on my invoices.) I've inquired with my editor, however, and I'll letcha know what he says.

Also, while I'm tapping into your databank of magazine knowledge, what was the last issue of the late '80s/early '90s VideoGames?

Too bad Gamer's Republic went down like that....drove me nuts cause I was looking for it for a subscription for MONTHS....it was one of hte few mags that I fel was worth paying money for. The only other one I've subscribed to in a LONG time was Next Gen.

According to my list, and seemingly contrary to your account above, there was also a Mar 2001 issue (#34). But yeah, nothing after July (#35).

Since Leonard didn't get to this one, I'll answer that it was Sep 96. At least, that's the last one I have listed...

BTW Leonard, I don't know either if there was a Mar 2003 Video Games Underground. I don't suppose anyone has seen a Sep 2002 issue for that matter? There isn't according to their back issue list in the Sep 2003 issue (nor is Mar or May, which I missed, yet).
