Hi everyone!

I was wondering if there is a Japanese speaking member that can help me identify the following game:

The game is not in my possession so I'm unable to test it myself. The seller is also not overly familiar with prototypes so they don't feel comfortable testing the game themselves. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hmmmm. . . I'm being told that the text is actually Chinese. My apologies.

Out of curiosity, what did it say? :)

Unfortunately it's not the title of the game, but a sticker that reads something like "This is a proto/beta." It looks like it will need to be tested to know for sure.

I went to the seller's shop today to test out the cart. The game turned out to be "Marvel Super Heroes: War of the Gems." It should be listed on eBay soon.

... Are you absolutely certain that this is a prototype?

That Chinese label only makes my "BOOTLEG" alarm go off.

It turns out that label is Japanese and not Chinese. . .

That's an authentic SNES dev board. You wouldn't see that on any bootleg/pirate. It's also from a seller that's sold countless prototypes from various platforms. I've even purchased some unreleased stuff off of him.

This is as legitimate as it gets.

It's good to be skeptical about these things though. I once purchased an NES prototype that was not on a NES dev board. I suspected that it was a boot and not a legitimate prototype as a result. The seller was super cool about it and took it back. I still have some pictures I could dig up.
