View Full Version : Digital Press Guide --- Correction
In the rumored section for the NES, Married with Children by ShareData is listed. After some extensive research over the last several months, I can safely say that this game was NOT ever planned for the Nintendo, despite what any magazine advert might say. The game was being worked on as a budget PC game, but it was dropped when the NES development took the mainstream.
Also, Joe, I would be interested in helping out on your latest edition of the Digital Press guide if you want me.

TRM, I'm editing the section, so just send anything my way. I'll make note of Married with Children, thanks.
Interesting, though. Was that Game Player's blurb a victim to bad journalism? It specifically says it's a $20 budget title for the Nintendo.

There are already two people on the NES section as it is.

Yes. And portnoyd's my buddy. If I knew how to spell nepotism, I'd crack a joke about it. But I don't want to look stupid.
But seriously, we're not all knowing demi-gods or anything (well, port isn't), so if you want something added or fixed, send it over. You'll get credit and all, if you're worried about that. Which I'm sure you are.
Yeah, it must have been listed due to bad journalism on Game Players' part. A programmer for the game, Jon Watson, told me that it was for the PC. A few other folks had mentioned that to me earlier as well. Jon no longer has any of his old stuff either, just incase anyone was curious.
