Even Sonic the Hedgehog(PS360) is better than Mario 64 and that's a terrible game.

Mario has redeemed himself with the New Super Mario Bros games. Those are pretty good. Well. I haven't played the Wii one, but for couple stages I played of the DS one I liked it. The Wii one looks good.

If it benefits them, they'll do it. There's no more money to be made from their rivalry, so they're gonna make a buck by uniting them. They couldn't give a shit about what we thought as kids.

Lets face it, when Sonic teams up with Mario, its like Nintendo is doing Sega a favor. Mario does not have an image problem, he has basically never falterd and is going strong after all these years.

Sonics image is in the toilet,, but it seems his games are still popular with young kids, its the people who grew up with Sonic that dislike what Sega has done with him.

Sonic and Mario Olympic games sell well, but I doubt they sell well because of Sonic. The games sell to Mario fans and Nintendo fans, not Sega and Sonic fans.

Mario is my favorite franchise, and Sonic is my second favorite. I see no problem, or malice towards either company for putting them together, if it's a good game, which Summer Olympics wasn't. It would also be great if Mario appeared in a Sonic game, but there's a good chance this won't happen. Seriously, the Sonic vs Mario debate has died a looooong time ago, and I know, I USED TO debate it. Just be glad there are still games with Mario, and games made with Sonic.
