The pictures above is from a copy of Alleyway I won on Ebay recently. Notice that although the box as a "front cover", there is no side nor any back covers, as though nothing was printed on it.

At first I thought it was a pirated version, yet I looked at the cart and manual and they seem authentic. I even opened the cart and saw a "Nintendo-Like" chip and motherboard (labels with either DMG or similar letters usually comming from Nintendo themselves).

So what did I get? Could the box be a display box used in gaming stores like GameStop? If so, why isn't there some type of indication stating "For Display Only" or similar message?

Thanks in advance.

Display box or even potentially a box from CES. I have a similar box for Bigfoot and Bill & Ted with blank backs.

Thanks for the info. :)

It's pretty neat that I may have a display box, or even a CES box.

Does this have any value compared to the original one?

Wow, memories. I totally forgot that game. I used to have that one way back in the day as a kid. I should pick that one up again, I loved that game.
