Any one wanna play Dragon Warrior 2.... together?

I'm about to get started. A couple people on NA wanna give it a go. They wanna do live chat while we play. If you see this in the next couple days and wanna join in go ahead. Wont be to hard to catch up. Probably play for a couple hous tonight. By no means am I a master of any of these games. I loved 1 and have played a little of 2 and 3. Just never beat them. 2 is going to take a while. Just thought having other people playing them together might be fun and actually get me through them. I will pm all the people that want to play 3 or 4 when I get to them. December, LOL! More people means more fun. Welp here I go. I'll post a little on what I did and where I got to later. And the adventure begins. Havent been this excited about playing a game in a while. Played last night. Got the prince (argh) and went throught the tunnel to the south. Got down there to the town and Bought everything Arthur could use (he's weeeeeek) and the broad sword and plate mail for my guy. Next get the 3rd person. Tonight!

Same for me. I already played through the NES and Gameboy color versions of 1 and 2 so my last play through a few months ago was the English translated SNES version. My favorite of the 3 versions by far. I will hop aboard when you start DQ3.

Playing now. Went back and got the Silver Key in the cave to the west of the second castle. Checked all the old towns realy nothing to use it on. Made it to the tower. Leveled both up getting there. Getting there is harder than inside. But gotta think a head. I'll make the trip a couple times before I really go for it. Maybe at the end of the night!

Played a little last night. Finaly got the mirror! Transformed the dog. Got the princess. Went back and got her the Magic Knife. Now I think I need to glide off the top of the tower with the magic cape? (I already have it) Man she is weak but those spells kick major ass. Tonight after work I'll keep chuggin alog.

A lot of people on the Racketboy forums play through old games and post their experiences. Look in the "Together Retro" forums on that site.

Didn't play last night. I went and saw Mix Master Mike (the Beastie Boys DJ) Awesome! But I did tonight. I got the BOAT! Yeeeeha! I figured out I was jumping off the wrong tower (LOL) over and over. Went through the under water tunnel went up to thorn tower jumped across. The chick died along the way. Made it to the boat town. Killed the goblins. Then I went and grinded until she is level 10. Interesting thing, I stopped on the island with the river chopping it up and ran into 6 metal slimes. I fought them. They where fucking me up. I killed 2 and they dropped a helmet! Saaweeeet. Untill tomarrow night. RASK1904

played a little tonight. Ran around with the boat. Got the treasure. Traded it for the flute. Got the gold key, Eldrick Token and Eldrick shield. Oh yeah I died for the first time. Went on a island and ran into 4 gremlins. Fuckers. Put all my people to sleep and pounded them with fireballs. untill tomarrow. Thanx RASK1904
