So I'm sort of curious about the game Digimon World for Playstation. The other day I was walking through my local game shop when I noticed they were selling the sequel for $40. I figured this was just the sequel and the original probably wasn't worth much.

Today I decided to check on Ebay though for the original game and it seems like that can bring in a fair amount of change to. I was thus wondering if anyone had some more information about how much this game is worth.

I have the original black label version and still have the card it came with inside the box*. Disc and box are in good condition as I remember only playing it for a short while because it was too hard for me.

Not sure if I'm going to sell it anytime soon, but I was just curious about it.

*Looking up information about the game, it seems like there was a card given out only with the first 100,000 purchases. Any information about if I have that card or if it includes a card normally is appreciated.

The game is worth around $25, the sequel and there is a even a third I believe can go for $25-$40. Its fairly sought after, greatest hits does not affect value.

I agree with gsking on the game prices as for the card I don’t think it will bring in anymore with or without it. If the TCG (Trading Card Game) was still popular and the card was a good card it would hold its own value but I don’t think that TCG is even played anymore so the cards are just about worthless but I don’t know, your best bet is to look the card up. Apparently some of the Taco Bell Digimon cards (http://cgi.ebay.com/WarGreymon-Taco-Bell-RARE-Digimon-Card-/180534060408?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a08ab2578) can be worth a good bit.

Thanks for the info. I just got curious and figured I'd ask. I'll probably still hold on to it for a while, but it's nice to know I could probably get more than EB Games would give me for it a few years back.
