Looking for Mega Man 9 Press Kit

Jim Combs here with Digital Press/CGE. I could really use your guys help in assisting me with tracking down a Mega Man 9 Press Kit. There where only 200 made and it was offered exclusively through the Capcom web site. If you have one your willing to sell, let's chat. Or if you know of anyone selling one, please let me know. I'm looking for one unopened. Thanks!

Just to add some info for you, more than 200 were made. There was a glitch in the ordering process and Capcom allowed more than 200 orders to be made. They did fill the ones they took in. I'd guess that the numbers are closer to 1k.

I own a sealed one (but not interested in selling) and I think there were many more made than 200 as well. They've been all over eBay, I've seen people who have or had multiple copies themselves, etc. Probably at least 500, 1k wouldn't surprise me though.

Hey guys, thanks for that bit of info, it probably stopped me from spending more than I was going to for one now that I know there is more than 200 out there.... Whew! By the way jonebone, congrats on your ownership of a mega man 9 press kit. Did you order yours on the capcom web site when it sold out all quick? With CGE coming up, I bet there is bound to be one surfacing at the show. Here's to hoping. Thanks again guys!

I sold mine a while back for about near 500.00 dollars on ebay. It would have eventually just have got lost in my collection somewhere. It was just a box to me Im sure for some hardcore megaman collectors it was worth way more.

A member named KiraKid on NintendoAge was selling 10 of these in January, and he was asking $100 each when he got down to the last two if I'm not mistaken.

Uh $500 is insanity, these things turn up in the $200-$250 BIN range on Ebay all the time.

Yep, and on average at open auction, I think they are going closer to $125-$150 shipped. Too bad you missed that seller on Nintendage. He had those kits at around $100 for almost six months before he finally sold the last one.

I'll probaby hold off and wait for an open auction or when I find one around $200. I love what Capcom did with this promo item, very cool! I just recieved in the mail today the Final Fight Double Impact Press Kit which is totally rad! What are yours guys thoughts on these press kits? And what Capcom game would you like to see a future press kit of? Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 anybody? =)

Yeah sorry mate, $118 is about the best price you could get on that. If you came in here thinking you'd spend $200-$250 then man you should have put up at least $150.

Not that I'm one to judge, I'm very stubborn with pricing too. I started collecting PS1 in Feburary and wanted a copy of Diablo in Excellent shape for less than $30. Must have came in second place on at least 10 auctions and finally just scored it in an 8 game lot for $37 last week. Came with some Tomb Raiders and Resident Evils so I'll basically have it for free after the resales.

But Diablo is a bit more commonplace than a MM9 Press Kit I'd say. I hope you snag one before November because then prices will go back up as people buy them in the Xmas season. GL bud!

Score!!! I finally won a copy of the Mega Man 9 Press Kit =D I won it for $119 shipped! It came today in the mail and I am now the proud owner of a MM 9 Press Kit. Thanks for all your posts everyone with helping me track one down for under 150.00.
