I still haven't played Alice, but it's been on my looking-for-but-too-cheap-to-buy list forever. Now, because it's not expensive enough, they decide to announce a sequel.

Maybe we'll get the first one on Steam or something. I'm curious about whether his other games will go up in value if this does well. I have Scrapland, and I'm thinking about picking up Bad Day LA...

Unfortunately, Alice is the one and only great game by American McGee. I consider myself a fan and have corresponded with him through his website over the years and he would be the first to admit that everything since Alice has largely been not as good as he would have wanted it to be. There are lots of reasons for that, but the likelihood of anything other than Alice increasing in value if this new game does well is about zero.

I was about to say the same, but I've never looked at those episodes of Grimm on D2D.

I was very much a fan of the original. However, with EA's name plastered on it, I'm going to be very wary. McGee has a unique sense of style, and is creative...but really he hasn't made any good games besides Alice. Hopefully he's given free reign to do what he wants with the project instead of having "Big Brother" hanging over his head all the time.

Also...I'm expecting QTE's...which is an instant turn off for me.

Don't.

Trust me. You know I love bad games, right? Well, just don't.

Just.
