My ps3 YLOD'd on me awhile ago.

I wasn't going to bother replacing it, but I was at Cosco and saw a 250 GB ps3 slim for $199. I snapped it up as it seems to be a great price.

They had a bundle for $349. I have no idea what the bundle contains as I didn't actually see any in stock, they just had the price for it. I expect the bundle probably came with two games, but I don't know.

This is Cosco Canada btw, so YMMV. :)

Ironically, Costco here in PR still has them for $350.

Still, awesome find. Wish I had specials like that!

I don't think it's a sale. The tag didn't say sale or clearance or anything.

I think it must be a mistake on their end. It doesn't make sense that the base 250 GB model would be $199 and the bundled 250 GB model would be $349 (unless the bundle included a LOT of stuff, controllers, games, etc..)

I think it's probably supposed to be $299, but that's speculation.

Must of been a mistake if there were no sale stickers. Most stores sell the system for $300 with no price drop in site. Trust me, I will be the first person to know of the $200 price point because that's my target price for me to pull out the greenbacks:)

It might be possible, since I recall seeing a Wii (non black, first version) for sale for $149.99 when it was supposed to be $199.99.

Still, a $100 drop seems kinda odd.

Didnt the Wii get dropped for some weeks at Costco about $30?

Really good deal. At $200 you should probably buy some more and then list them on Ebay. If you can't afford to keep them around until they sell, then list them $299 plus shipping charges with a one day time limit then go back and buy some more if they're stlil available at that price as soon as they sell.

Because the 120GB PS3s are selling for $299 right now. The 250GB GB are regularly $349, so that's probably what you saw when you said you saw $349. Someone rescanned them with the incorrect price.

*edit*

Looking at Amazon seems there's also a 250GB bundle with LBP and an HDMI cable for $349. Without the bundles still cost the same.

That's a good idea, but shipping from Canada is slow and pretty expensive. Most Americans get squirrelly when it takes 2 weeks for something to arrive. I'm not sure if it'd be worth the brain damage.

Maybe shipping to other Canadians makes sense though since they're used to slow shipping LOL

You could list it as standard first class shipping would be one to two weeks. Or you could also give them options for shipping and make sure it's posted in the comments. I don't know how Canada is but we have up to next day delivery yet that is pretty expensive.

About listing choices for shipping charges in the comments. Reason for this is that I for one hate it when shipping says $3.99 and it's from some Ebay store who $3.99 is 20-30 days and your packages could be lost so you're pretty much forced to go to the next one which is always between $7.99-9.99, etc(it's a scam if you ask me.) I usually check shipping in the notes before hand but if I happen to have that happen to me and then in the comments or anywhere on listing itself it doesn't mention shipping options, I give bad feedback once I receive the item. I don't bother emailing them because while it costs me $4 extra, it permanently hits their Ebay account and why should I email an Ebay store for using some douchebag tactic and cheating their customers? Bad feedback will let them know a customer is pissed off and maybe they'll change the way they do sales. Usually they show a dollar or two cheaper than another person selling the same item and you see the shipping as a lower cost so you go with them and that's where they get you. After their shipping it costs more than you could have gotten it from the other seller. It's happened to me twice.

Some stores had a sale on normal Wii's a week before the black version came out and they were selling it for $149 to get rid of them.

And $199 for a PS3 is a really good deal. I'd definitely snatch it up for that price.
