Hello, I have a snes kiosk and the monitor is in poor shape. Took it to get repaired, but couldn't be fixed because parts are impossible to find. I was told that the red gun had stopped working, and the flyback transformer is also failing as well. AND the degaussing coil isn't firing correctly. Also, intermittently, everything on the screen will turn mostly yellow.
I don't even know how the monitor still projects a picture with little color with all of these things wrong!
Can anyone help? :help:

I tried telling him he could make an attachment, but then I saw he said that he thought the "Unsuscribe" button could delete a topic, and I immediately thought "how is babby formed?"

Eh, my bad. Sometimes the internet can skewer meanings that are easily found through audio, such as sarcasm, which screws up a lot of things.
Still, Rambo47, it sounds like you need a new monitor if the red one quit and all it does is near-solid yellow screens.

No problem there~
I'd suggest looking into a CRT television as they are cheap and easy to find on craigslist. and it looks much more natural than a LCD sitting on top of it.

I would consider doing that, but it is a 9 pin rgb cable that connects to it and it will only work with a CRT with this exact set up inside, and these are the only monitors of their kind. When they made these things, they made them only work with specific parts unfortunately.

The SNES inside can use normal SNES cords, you'd have to open it up and put the original in storage in case you do come a crossed one on ebay.
I have seen one of these monitors pop up once, but I wouldn't put my hopes up.
I wonder, does anyone know if this connection is a sCart?

I am guessing you have the smaller of the 2 models as I have the bigger and mine just hooks up through normal AV.
