"the" Event Is Just A Week Away!!

Ok people,let's start getting alittle restless here,CGE is just 1 week away,and I don't know about you guys,but I'm startin' to get pumped up about it.For one,there hasn't been a CGE for 2 years,so that's something to get stoked about...second,I get to see some of my gaming buddies,Rick,Lee,Hans,Brad & others at the meet and share a booth with some of them.Third,there's finally a gathering of all of us who are into this retro-gaming thing in the first place,and this IS the event to be at for that reason.Fourth,we get to party down in the evening,after the show,in all places...VEGAS,BABY!! Then there's all the games to check out and tourney's and contest...I mean what is there NOT to look forward to...Let's here from you that are ready to....PARTY & RETROGAME IN VEGAS!!!

Well...I plan to make Portland also,had a great time last year there,Hopefully I can sell some items there.I was planning on selling some stuff at the booth there at CGE,but I didn't want to fill the Toyota to the gills,so I'll save that for Portland,hopefully filling up the back of the Dodge Ram Diesel with goodies!! Also,I want to "bathe" in the ambience of the event,mingle with friends current and friends in the making,and enjoy the event without being tied down totally to a booth.I will help out whenever I can for my "boothmates",plus I want to enjoy the evening activities planned Friday & Saturday nites.Plus I will have my hands full participating in a contest at the NWCGE booth all day Saturday,more details to follow!! Very well put, Rob. Being able to meet everyone again, as well as testing (and purchasing) some classic fun, will simply be an event to remember.

Can't wait for next weekend, and some 2-player fun with the SI 25th 2-player cooperative mode, or head-to-head mode!

I've been pumped for this since I heard it was actually happening. I've already pulled out my bags and am trying to get packing!

Also, as far as multiplayer goes, maybe some Dragon Quest IX, Namco Museum DS, Space Bust-a-Move? Oh, and anything weird. :D

I'll be hitting the road Thursday morning about 7am,make a quick stop and pick up my son in Eastern Washington,then onto Twin Falls Idaho,for the night,then onto Vegas,hopefully arriving in the late afternoon Friday.Wednesday (tomarrow) will be a busy day getting packed up and everything. Rob
