I have some small JAMMA cabinets that I was going to build into MAME machines but I am thinking intead about selling or trading them. My main concern has to do with shipping these things. Has anybody out there had experience with crating and shipping things like arcade cabinets? What is involved with respect to constructing crates and shipping costs? What transport/shipping companies can be recommended (or should be avoided) for this kind of work?

Ideally, somebody would be willing to just come pick them up - one or all - and avoid all shipping hassles on both ends. I live in Albuquerque and can't imagine much of a local market for this type of thing. Maybe somebody in a neighboring state might be interested.

Any advice (or inquiries) would be welcome. Thanks.

Before you even consider shipping one of these beasts, go to RGVAC and see if anybody would be interested. You'd be surprised how many collectors are probably right in your area. If that doesn't work, post something here with more details. I managed to get rid of an Arch Rivals through this forum, so it is possible.
