That Shmup with the shark-girls

I checked out the game, and it's actually fairly competent. At the very least, the ship designs and sprite work is fairly colorful and creative (if albeit not that well animated). You may have to dig on youtube, but you can find some real gameplay footage.

My only issue is the hitbox here. Normally (in this game), your hitbox is the size of your character (freakin huge) but you can press a button and enter "focus mode" in which your box shrinks to only your head. The tradeoff is that you can't shoot. Its a weird mechanic and I'm not sure I really have a handle on how to use it effectively.

But those comments were usually from hardcore players who think bullet hell shooters are teh bestest thing evar!111, so...

I want to know where you found any talk about the game. I've been digging for days and all I've found a thread on shmups that has a mere two posts. One guy likes, one guy doesn't.

At the very least, the game is a novelty and is worth at least looking at. Its certainly not bad, an there are plenty of homebrew shmups that are considerably worse and far more expensive.

I'm actually surprised no big name site's really bothered to do a review of it yet. Or rather, not surprised...
