Dreamcast Import Values, Typing of the Dead Question

Howdy-

I've got a handful of Dreamcast imports--I'm not sure what they're worth. If anybody has an idea, or if anybody has interested in buying or trading (especially interested in SHMUPS!), please chime in. Also, I have a few questions regarding Typing of the Dead & the keyboard--see below.

1 - Soul Caliber. Sealed, looks complete (not sure if it's factory or sealed or a store re-seal). Definitely for sale--already have a copy for me.
2 - Tales of the Sunrise Heroes (Sunrise Eiyuutan). Tested good w/ Utopia 1.1 boot disc. Disc, manual, case, back insert, spine insert.
3 - Phantasy Star Online. Tested good w/ Utopia 1.1 boot disc. Disc, manual, manual, case, back insert, spine insert. Case & manual are thicker than typical jewel case.
4 - Let's Make J-League Pro Soccer Team. Tested good w/ Utopia 1.1 boot disc. Disc, manual, case, back insert. Case & manual are thicker than typical jewel case.
5 - Space Channel 5. Tested good w/ Utopia 1.1 boot disc. Disc, manual, case, back insert, spine insert.
6 - Samba de Amigo. Tested good w/ Utopia 1.1 boot disc. Disc, manual, case, back insert, registration card (I think). Case & manual are thicker than typical jewel case. No maracas controllers. Can this even be played w/ normal controllers?
7 - Gundam Battle Online. Tested good w/ Utopia 1.1 boot disc. Disc, manual, case, back insert. Case & manual are thicker than typical jewel case.
8 - Sega GT: Homologation Special. Tested good w/ Utopia 1.1 boot disc. Disc, 2 manuals, double-disc case, front & back insert, sticker sheet, mode index sheet.
9 - D2. Tested good w/ Utopia 1.1 boot disc. 4 discs, manual, spine insert, registration card (I think), Dream Point card, D2 Deep File card, translucent blue year 2000 calendar, double-disc case.
10 - Godzilla Generations. Doesn't run w/ Utopia 1.1 boot disc (documented to be so, disc assumed good). Disc, case, back insert.
11 - Pro Yakyuu Team o Tsukurou! Tested good w/ Utopia 1.1 boot disc. Disc, manual, plastic disc envelope.
12 - Typing of the Dead. Sealed, looks complete (not sure if it's factory or sealed or a store re-seal). Does the Japanese game have English words too or just Japanese?
13 - Dreamcast Keyboard. Sealed, looks complete (not sure if it's factory or sealed or a store re-seal). Does the Japanese keyboard work on US Dreamcasts?

I was at this crazy store today i say a bunch of these games 5 a piece but not complete of course [i bought jap sonic adventure brand new for that so it was complete but the only one]. I might be interested in the jap version of typing of the dead if it has English words

I had a mint factory-sealed JP version of Soul Calibur that took me quite awhile to move at $7. I think that I ended up trading it on here to a forum member, if I recall correctly. I also had used JP versions of Power Stone and Tech Romancer which I sold for around $7 apiece after sitting on them for months. The vast majority of DC imports seem to be worth squat. The 'money' ones seem to be shooters (Border Down, etc.), good PAL exclusives (Shenmue II english) and the odd, quirky games (L.O.L., Cosmic Smash, etc).

After checking your pics, I noticed that that Soul Calibur is a reseal. It should have a spine card! Most JP accessories should work on the US Dreamcast with no issue. Hope all this helps. Good luck!

Most of those games are pretty cheap. Dunno what the keyboard goes for, but everything else is in the $5 or so category.

As far as Typing of the Dead goes, the Japanese keyboard works fine on my US DC, but I have trouble finding punctuation quickly and, the space bar is teeny weeny, as on Japanese computer keyboards. I'm getting a US DC keyboard soon.

Both the US & JP versions of Typing of the Dead work fine w/ the JP keyboard. The JP version is pretty easy at first, but then the words/phrases to type get looooong & don't have spaces in them & are super hard to type. I was disappointed to hear the same awful English voice acting in the JP version--I was hoping for some energetic Japanese audio. =( Both versions have the appropriate subtitles during the cut scenes.


Bottom line: awesome game--love it!
