I have a sealed black box Super Mario Bros for the NES. Was curious if anyone knows a decent value? I'd honestly say it's in perfect condition, no crushage etc. I'm not a sealed collector and only have 2 sealed games that I've chanced upon this being one of them, so I'm not sure if there is anything I should look for on the seal etc?

I will take some pics and post them soon.

This is going to be for sale in case anyone is interested.

The seal variation is going to dictate the value here. If it is a white oval seal, it's the later release. If it is a black circle seal, it is the original release (hangtab).

To clarify this post, the "Official Nintendo Seal of Quality". Is the original one an oval though?

To clarify, this is the original seal (worth more):

This is the later release:

Mostly just cause I took pics of both at the same time, here's some pics of my other sealed game. Any info on what it's worth too would be cool.

The Zelda: LttP is a legitimate brand spankin' new sealed game. The Super Mario Bros. is not. Look how Zelda has a horizontal seam that goes along the back. Super Mario Bros. should have it as well. Also notice how the corners of the box of Super Mario Bros have wear. It's used and resealed.

EDIT: Well, I guess you're right in saying that both of them are sealed. It's just that Super Mario Bros. is in fact resealed and Zelda is a brand new game. I don't know how much you paid for those games, but Zelda is worth a small amount, I think in the $100-150 area while a boxed (and if complete) Super Mario Bros. should be worth like $15-20.

Cool thanks for the info, I didn't pay much at all for either of them, just chanced upon them for cheap many many years ago so yea.

Wicked NES reseal here. Common for black box games...
