So I'm new to etsy, but thought that you guys would appreciate these two items...if you haven't already seen them:

The first is a Nintendo system (NES) made out of beads:

If this wasn't so much $$$, I'd be all over it.

And you know those stick figure family stickers on the back of all those minivans? This girl has similar stickers for your car...but Mario-ized!

I don't have kids...so I don't think I'll be making the purchase...but still SWEET ASS!!!

The NES bead thing looks ok, but the decals look *meh* I once bought a NES wooden box, and some space invader soaps from some etsy sellers. There are some cool and creative things on there sometimes.

There are quite a few game related items, but you mentioned two items from the same seller. The seller of these items wouldn't happen to be you would it?

I think the Mario & Princess would look better if they were done similar to the mushrooms/goombas instead of being solid white.

$25 total for a 2" NES model made from cheap beads? Sorry, I don't hate money enough to pull the trigger here.

$20 for a crappy plastic NES model I could easily make with Legos if I really got bored enough and didn't care to spend money hunting down pieces to make a model of something I already own that can play actual games? It's a total spammy ripoff, but it's not half as bad as the $300 Zippo made to look like the Mega Drive. If the NES were twelve times that size, it'd be worth it, but it reeks of "Hey, I made this homemade crap and I'm using my ego-powered proudness to up the price from $2 to $20."

I second the spam lock notion put onto the Senate floor by Rep. Ed Oscuro.

Eh, I only got four hours of sleep last night. Also, anyone and their dog can make those stickers using a professional printing company. I'm waiting to see if the OP posts a new topic with Mario stickers made to fit the back window of a truck, for those people who are named after hurricanes and enjoy Heartland Thunder.

So what's happening? Do we get a new Ebay spammer everyday of the week now.
[if it is true that they are the same person]

Dammit, I was hoping it was an actual functioning NES made out of beads. THAT would be pure awesome.

The combo has been broken.

Also, the OP (gamblergonewild) is definitely a spammer- the link also has four other Mario related items, and the post sounds like the cookie-cutter kind of spam post.

I hadn't heard of Etsy. Some of stuff is neat, but how much bead sculpture and yarn cross stitch Marios does a person need?

Man that beaded NES looks awful.

Atleast bushwacker didn't create a new thread.

Atleast bushwacker didn't create a new thread.

Yeah, it was a good thing bushwacker didn't, but why this thread then the logical choice of a topic about controller collections, a topic relevant to the question? It made sense there, but why in a thread where a spammer is showing off their horrible craft projects that they're selling for 20x the price?

I thought Etsy was a place for craft and art makers to offer their wares. This is neither. I wouldn't know from a glance what it was supposed to be without being told. Add a keychain and it might be worth a few bucks... Like any other keychain trinket.
