So now and days it seems like the only games that can keep my attention are puzzle games and games that keep track of high scores. I'm considering selling my DS as I recently completed Pokemon SoulSilver (will always have a weak spot for these games) but will consider something else on the DS before I do.

As of now I've been hooked on games like Peggle, and Mario Bros. (yes the old arcade game), but in some cases have had some good times on lengthy adventure titles on the DS (Castlevania, Kirby, Pac'n Roll, etc.). Anyone know some good games that might fill my void? I've owned Tetris DS and Meteos before and only liked the former. Puzzle League games bore me... what about Geometry Wars?

a game that i always played to get a better score was warioware where you tried to make it as far as possible and the minigames get faster and faster. They were always fun.

ZooKeeper.

That's all you'll need. Katchoo has been playing this game since release (3+ years ago) and is still besting scores in the differenet modes.

GeoWars works for a while, but most of the time you're just going to try to beat the Gold scores for that world so you can get enough bits to buy into the following areas. I rarely went back to play most of the old levels unless I was farming bits to open up other levels. It's a good game, but the 'twin' stick ness of it is hampered by the D-pad.

Everyone seems to love Space Invaders Extreme (and its sequel).

And I suppose there's Metroid Prime Pinball. That's good fun.

WarioWare: DIY is a awesome game.

I've been hearing really good things about Henry Hatsworth. It seems to be a combination of platforming and puzzling, so maybe you'll like it. It was for sale on Amazon for 10 bucks earlier today, but has gone back up. Wish I'd seen it in time to grab it then.

Given Mr. Dorf's distaste for Puzzle League, Hatsworth doesn't seem like such a good idea. Besides, the puzzle aspect is rather hard to separate from its balls-hard platforming aspect.
WarioWare: DIY is a awesome game.Is it? I had been wondering. All the content is user-generated, no? Doesn't that leave it up to you to filter out the 95% crap? I certainly don't want to bother making my own!

Professor Layton. Perfect for small bites...I've found myself in the same boat, especially with portables. Not much keeps my attention, but those games really grab my attention.

Otherwise, Picross and Picross 3D are good choices. Neves is fun, as is Matchstick. Of cours, the aforementioned Wario Ware DIY is good too.

I did not enjoy Space Invaders when I bought it the last time I owned a DS. Not sure why, maybe it's because too many people compared it to a better revival then Pac-Man CE, which was not the case at all.

Metroid Prime Pinball I did own back in the day, amazing game!!

Maybe I'll look into Professor Layton, but that seems more like a brain type puzzle game rather than a puzzle game like Tetris/Lumines/Puyo Pop, etc.
