I appreciate the spamminess of the post but it's not too far a drive for me which makes this a useful notice.

Sure, like a store wants that.
Forget about buying anything...just waste an employees time by talking all day to them! Nevermind the scolding they will get for not "doing their job" (specially if they are being evaluated for X or Y thing), just talk to them all day long!

That is probably more appropriate to post when you see spam.
Though I usually associate postings by bots as spam. This is more of an advertiser who just figured he could get away with posting an ad because this is a video games board. The sad part is he could of easily posted this in the retro game map thread and there wouldn't have been too much of a big deal...

I thought Ryborg basically killed the thread, then I saw the Polar Bear and was bested. The spam with eggs joke was really good, did you come up with that all on your own?

You know what? I think you guys are being too harsh.
I'd rather get a heads up when a new brick and mortar store opens near me dealing in stuff I'm interested in. If it were a DP member saying "I'm opening a store!" this would be a 3-4 page thread with high fives.
Let's cry moar about your wasted 30 seconds if you clicked the thread title with Cincinnati in it and don't live nearby.

It's not even that, it's their first post advertising a store. If anyone comes into a forum and says "oh hai, I got somethingz for sale!", it's automatically marked as spam. This is no different. Their 2nd post asks about why their being called spam, and the 3rd is about Yu gi oh tournament (assuming it's the card game of sorts) plus a madden tournament. It's wasteful time. Besides, who here in these forums cares about yu gi oh? Better question - who cares about Madden?
