Hello all, new to the forum. :3

I have recently gotten a used Sega Saturn system and a used Astal game. Unfortunately, Astal doesn't want to work!

The system seems fine, it play audio CD without a problem. However, upon startup it asks for language options and the date every time. I'm not sure it that's normal or not. o.o

As for Astal, the game is not in the best condition, and when I attempt to play it, I get the following error

Code: FFFFFFEA
Func: 060B0DE6
Obj: 0B0DBBAC

Is it the disc or the console, or perhaps both? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :D

It asks you for the language/date every time because your Saturn's battery is dead. It's a common battery type and is easily replaced.

I dunno about the disc error, though.

That looks like a technical error where the game is trying to load a certain point of data that could be a polygon or a data instruction and can't due to the disc being scratched or damaged. So,I would get the disc professionally resurfaced,it doesn't cost too much, or just buy another copy.

Actually, I have a problem myself.

I got a Saturn from a goodwill in Japan. It definately needs a new battery, however there is another issue with it. I bought a game along with the saturn and when it tries to read it it says "Disc Empty." Now I don't have another game, but the game is in four discs and they all say the same thing. Thinking of buying another one tomorrow to see if it's the game. I don't have an audio cd so I can't check if that works. Ideas?
