TurboCollector.Com - Who owns it?

Hey, I think the guy that owns Turbocollector.com is on here and it has stopped working. First, who is it if you guys know? and second, if he is not going to continue it, I would be happy to create a new site and archive the site on it. It has been REALLY useful to me and I'll love to expand it over time to include PC Engine stuff.

I am pretty sure it is the guy listing tons of Turbo stuff on Ebay lately. The pics he uses for his auctions are the same that were on the site. Head over to Pcenginefx.com and there is a huge flame war going on over him selling his stuff. I just wish he kept the site up because it was really helpful and to the point.

Yes that is RoyVegas. I'll have to mention this to him. Dunno why he'd take down the site, if it did. Maybe he will allow someone to archive it for him.

Go read about it on the most active PCE forum around. No name dropping or linkin' but you can find it if you're savvy. :D

I remember a certain Nintega came from there and joined here, and proceeded to start warfare over the Xbox. It truly is a sad place. If there was a bigger PCE community, no one would flip out. Either way, warm up the antiaircraft guns, there's drama coming from above.

This drama isn't exactly worthless. Alot of the time it is lame/unnecessary horse shit, but this time it's basically The Forum vs. 1 Person, which is obviously an indication that it isn't just the typical bunch of us stubborn tards arguing about something stupid.

Something genuinely shitty went down and noone was pleased. People who don't always get along seem to be on the same side now too. What's that tell you!

I doubt the drama/flame war in question will continue here, especially because I'm the one that started it (well, more like began the counter-offensive against the shitty event), and I don't intend to bring it up here. I could have back when it went down, and even thought about it... but decided to leave it at the PCE forum.

No, it is EXACTLY the standard crap that PCEFX is known for. After reading this thread, I went to see what all the fuss was about. It reminded me why I never visit that forum.

I used to lurk on PCEFX quite often, but got tired of all the needless drama.

As far as this situation goes, I have read all the threads about what happened and understand the situation fully. I have no desire to bring that discussion here, where it doesn't belong. Other members at PCEFX have already made statements about this situation which reflect how I feel about it, so I'll let them do the talking.

Who cares if PCEFX has drama going on? Doesn't every forum have drama every once in a while? I'm a fan of the TG-16 and PCE, and as long as PCEFX keeps doing what they're doing, I'll still be a member there.

Lets keep this on the taking down of the site. Anything that may be in relation to whatever the hell is going on over at the PCEFX forums can stay there. This is the second time in a few months that we've had some drama follow users across.

It sounds like the site may come back in some form. Hopefully RoyVegas will keep people who care in the know.

Why does it matter how much someone charges for items? Just don't buy them. That's the biggest issue I have with certain sites, they try and price police something, just don't buy it and that's the end of it. I mean, most of the stuff I see are best offers included, but it's ebay so why do people continue to complain about people and prices?
