These shots made me drool and sport something not too far off from a semi. Good Lord, some of these are AMAZING. Too bad it's just a pixel art project.

Not entirely sure whether this should go in Classic or Modern gaming...but felt it's most likely more appreciated in here...

There are actually 2 demake games that i know of, Team Fortress 2 (called Gang Garrison) and Left 4 Dead. I know Gang Garrison is actually an online game too so thats pretty cool.

Thanks for sharing. Those are really awesome!
I could care less about almost every one of the current gen versions of those games. But damn... If they had versions that looked like the demakes I would play them in a heartbeat. Beautiful pixel art and inspiring designs... now I am depressed that I can't actually play these. :drinking:

Woah, those are amazing, some really cool stuff there... I can't quite identify the racing one with "nsfs" as the title though, it it supposed to be a Need for Speed game done like Spyhunter or something like that?
Awesome pictures though, it makes you wish that some of those were real... :)

At first I thought these were all complete playable 2D remakes. I was like "holy shit this guy has been busy" but know I know they're just pictures. Still cool!

QFT!
It just shows the amazing level of clarity and attention to detail old-school developers had for their products. Like their modern counterparts, it's hard to tell what the hell is going on that you bash the controls and hope to get lucky. Am I alone in this?
Bayonetta can never look this good but seeing as we're in the middle of a retroactive renaissance maybe one of us should send the pic to Platinum.
Who knows. Maybe it'll ignite the first modern retro makeover of 2010. :D

The funny thing is that there's actually a real 2D version of that game.
