Ok, the reason of this thread is to recall some good old horror games. Even they are not trully horror.
I've played Hugo House of Horror today and it r0x! The graphics are so bad, the command line is so awesome!

Them I downloaded alone in the dark 1, I could barely move! Is it playable at all ?

And in the end I remembered Goosebumps, scape from horrorland! I can't find a way of this game to work in my computer. Any advice on this would be great.

So there you go, post here games that you played in the computer and it's horror based.
PS: No doom, quake, hexen here as this is too much right in the face.

Uninvited, Shadowgate are two contenders. Specially Uninvited.

Another suggestion for Uninvited. Creeps me out. Especially Scarlet O'Hara. *shudders*

tremors and the sequel were creepy as hell

The game is very much playable, it just suffers from stiff controls which is understandable being that it was the first 3D Survival Horror game. One thing that annoyed me was having to press forward twice to run, half the time it didn't work and I'd end up getting killed as a result.

Both Waxworks and Personal Horror (created by Horrorsoft) are available at Good Old Games (http://www.gog.com/en/search/sort/developer/Horrorsoft) for $6 each.
Phantasmagoria was also pretty good. A Puzzle of Flesh... good, but campy.

Which one is the best ? Phantasmagoria or The Beast Within ?

Probably The Beast Within, but they're both not very good games by today's standards.

Picked up Realms of the Haunting off of Ebay a few weeks ago, been wanting to try it for a while. There's some play throughs of it on Youtube if you want to check it out. I think it looks pretty good and it's from 1997 which could be old depending on what you're looking for.

How about Pac Man? It's got ghosts in it.
Or Haunted House? Remember that one? I believe it was on Apple II.
