So, I just cleaned out my cabinet of older VHS tapes and found three out of the four volumes of Earthworm Jim cartoon vhs tapes. I had boughten them at a Walgreens brand new when I was about 8 (and this was around 2003 or 2004) and just found them on Ebay selling for 10-35 dollars. Are these accurate prices? Everything I have is in mint shape, and if it helps any I have the pack-in trading cards (2 of them) and all the little catalogs for the 1995-1996 action figures that were made by PlayMates. And, from what I know, these were the only episodes that you could get on VHS- the cartoon was never widely released as a DVD box set or beyond those four vhs tapes I have. I can post a photo if you want- I'm seriously interested in this stuff since I always loved the SNES games and of course the cartoon (why else would I have the tapes?).

You've confused "selling for" and "posted for" on ebay. They actually sell for a few bucks each, at most.

Thanks for the information, but you don't need to be an ass about my spelling. Sorry about "boughten", I know it should have been "bought"- I'm a bit dyslexic FYI. I don't think straight 100 percent of the time. XD

I guess I'll still keep 'em, they're still worthy enough to be in my collection.

Yeah, you'll find that although those videos -- and lots of other stuff -- get listed on ebay at X price, they are usually solden for much less. Check the solden items by using the completed listing feature in the search engine.

I have a few of these tapes myself. I managed to get a few extra copies brand new, I've tried to sell them locally for $3 each for a few years already with no interest. I used to watch the cartoon all the time back when it was on, sadly it's not on DVD so these tapes with these episodes are all I have.

Nice language... keep it civil please... I haven't had any modding to do in a little while, and I'm getting itchy...

It's a common misconception to think VHS tapes have a lot of value. The huge, vast majority of them go for single digit dollars, regardless of series. Even the "FOR PROMOTIONAL USE ONLY - NOT FOR RESALE" tapes you find sometimes aren't worth squat.

In a way, that's a good thing. You can stock up on mass amounts of VHS tapes and still have cash left. My local Goodwill sells VHS tapes for 50¢, so common movies can be had at 1/40 the price of DVD releases.
