Insane Craigslist Find. [Archive] - Retrogaming Roundtable

So yesterday I was messing around on Craigslist when I stumbled on quite a deal. I thought I'd share it here. Some of these things will be up for sale soon as I now have extras. Total paid? $200.00. All of the boxed games are complete and in good-great condition. All of the consoles came with chords, etc (minus the Virtual Boy). Oh, and the Super Scope is new.

Well, it is ok...not quite "insane" tho.

You got your money's worth, that's for sure. But it wasn't really insane since if you plan on ever selling, you will probably get a little more than what you paid.

Now if the lot was for $50, that might be considered "insane".

Still, it's a nice lot and I hope you enjoy it.

It is insane... that you paid so much for a ton of crappy sports games on Xbox :)

J/k nice grab though that's going to be a lot more reselling than I would care to do. Probably should double up at least when all said and done.

While in theory yes, I did respond early.

Although yeah, the amount of items gotten is pretty good, I still feel the same about my previous comment.

However, I have to admit, there are lots of items obtained. Great to sell to at least recoop the money wasted.

Because, it's annoying when someone jumps the gun like that. I'm sure you've seen it elsewhere... people calling others out before they've even had a chance to prove themselves.

By the way, that Super Scope doesn't look new. The box looks opened and badly worn.

I don't see how anyone could cut on this find, if he sold all of the games and systems individually he would easily double and probably more than triple his investment.

Really? More annoying than someone posting in the wrong area and stuffing the post full of pictures? When I saw the title, I assumed this was a post guiding us to some vast Craigslist score that we could all share ala what GameGavel was trying to get going last week. This is just an unnecessary brag post for a mediocre find in the wrong area.

Yeah Beta, the box is a little worn, but everything inside is still sealed up in plastic, including the game. I'm pretty sure the box was never sealed in plastic. My SNES from Christmas 199X wasn't, nor my first NES. It looks like it's just been in a closet or something with other boxes to me. But hey, who knows.

Bojay-Seriously? I already said earlier that I didn't realize there was an Aug 2010 finds thread started. Give me a break. I saw about 4 topics being moved after I posted this. Guess what? Mine's still here. Maybe the mods disagree with you? Either way, chill out. It's just one thread.

It's 'just' one thread, not one post. I have moved this because that's what happens to ALL finds threads. They go in What's it's Worth. Attitudes need to be dropped on both sides of this. The thread is moved, peace and harmony can return to the world...
