After you complete a game, do you watch the ending credits or do you go and do something else while the credits are rolling? I just finished Zelda II for the first time ever today (inspired by the AVGN review) and when I got to the credits, I just sat down and enjoy watching the credits because it felt good to have finally completed it.
This isn't the first time I've watched the ending credits of a game, but most of the time, I don't have the patience to watch them. This time though, it was so much satisfaction in watching the credits.

If it's the first time beating a game then I'll watch the credits.

Yes. Always. Even if the game is stupid.
If it's a good game, I want to show the devs respect and so I read the names of everyone involved.
If it's a bad game, I read the credits so I know who to blame for the mess I just completed. :P

If I put enough time into a game and reach the ending, I might as well watch the credits.

Same here. Unless the credits are really bad ass or have interesting stuff to look at while they scroll away.

If it's the first time beating a game then I'll watch the credits.
This, to make sure there's nothing hidden after the credits roll.
Otherwise, I skip 'em, unless there's a game attached, like in Punch-Out for the Wii.

I always watch them.
The only exception is Sega Arcade Gallery for the GBA. I really don't want to see the end credits for the compilation every single time I reach the end of a race in Super Hang-On and Outrun.

I will always remember in Secret of Evermore if you waited like 45 minutes after the ending, you got a special scene. Oh the memories.

Usually I watch the credits.

Of course. It's a part of the ending. Unless I've seen it many times over already, I'll definitely sit and watch them attentively. Plus credits often have cool pictures or animations to watch, and the songs are often among the best of the soundtrack.

It really depends on the game.
Newer games I usually do since many games will show something at the end.
Some games, like guitar hero, you get an achievement for sitting through them.
Now if the game was so awesome that I plan on writing the person, sure, I would pay attention.
I normally always let the credits roll and glance over every once in awhile, but do not really pay attention
EDIT: I rather enjoy the super monkey ball credits as they have something random to do in them

I remember watching the credits for Activision Classics on PS2 and seeing a bunch of names -- hey, I know that guy! and that guy! -- and then seeing MY name!! So while I so rarely get to the point where I'd be seeing the credits, I suppose I HAVE to!
I used to always watch them. Today, especially with modern games, I tend to get a bit bored if it's just a list of names as with Saint's Row 2 or Dragon Age though
Yup, I watch them the first time around and if they contain special easter eggs or hidden codes, I'll watch them once more to find them all :guitar:

I like the end of Rampage for NES.
"CONGRATULATIONS" for like 3 seconds, then back to the title screen...... argh...

The credits are my victory lap. Games that I have completed multiple times, it depends on the game.

If they seem interesting or have cool music or something I will watch them, also if I really enjoyed the game I will watch, if they are for just a crappy game I will pass on them.

I always watch at least once. Usually I would never go through a game more than once to see the credits unless it's something like a fighting game where you're going to see it multiple times a day if you're playing through the single player.
That's usually where some of the best music of the game is at. I don't sit there and read every name but I put the controller down and just listen to the music. The music during the end credits of Call of Duty: World at War is pretty badass.

I second the cool music during the credit roll, nothing offers closure on a game better than an appropriately victorious/emotional sort o' tune during the wrap-up. Plus, who isn't amused by some of the awesome nicknames of the Japanese devs? I would never have thought of "Escaper" on my own!

I usually do. Some are getting ridiculous though. MGS4? It's like 45 minutes long (even though it's pretty freaking epic).

If they bother doing something unique and interesting, then I'll watch all the way through. For example, on Phantasy Star Online, once you finish that difficulty level you'll get to see the credits, along with a slideshow of stills of your character battling various monsters and bosses, along with some great music.
I'll start watching credits, but if it goes on for too long I'll give up. The credits are usually listed in the game manuals if I'm that interested, and if they couldn't spice up that end sequence with anything more interesting, I'll pass it over.
I always watched the ending credits, even for games I hated, just because you never know what will happen at the end of them.

I only let the credits play on the off chance there is something of interest contained in them. Otherwise, I buttom mash until they end. If the game sucked (coughFF13cough), I will go take a piss while they're playing.

The first time finishing a game I will usually read through the credits.

Always watch them. It's my reward for finally finishing something.

Same here, I always watch the credits. You never know what's going to happen after they end. But most of the time nothing happens :beaten:
