WTB: GBA SP or Gameboy Color

The sound on my Gameboy Color has been shot for awhile, so I think I am in the market for either another Gameboy Color or an SP. Which is recommended? And is the second generation of SP noticeably better than the first generation?

Either way, feel free to message me with offers. I'm looking to buy the best condition available, because sticky keys/scratches on the screen/missing battery covers are my worst nightmare.
