So, I've finally gotten around to cataloging my collection and I noticed that a lot of my Saturn boxes have large cracks in the covers.

Other than raiding commons, is there a way to buy some empty cases?

From a quick Google search it doesn't seem like there is. This seller (http://shop.ebay.com/j2_games/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p4340) once had some listed, but it appears that he's sold out.

This topic (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1717407) recommended either finding cheap sports games and using their case or switching to DVD cases.

This is why I will only get the discs and will put them in slim dvd cases with covers from coverproject.net. I hate having cases and boxes that I can't replace/fix.

I wish I had a nice printer so I could use the Cover Project coverart. There's been some awesome stuff posted there over the years.

I usually print them at office depot, it cost about 0.60 per cover and it looks nice

Yeah, I'm not going to San Diego to print those out. :p Though, sixty cents per cover IS quite a good price.

Well once it backs up and you need to print out like 20 or so it might be worth it :)

Not to be a downer... but yuck!

Sega Saturn games need to be in the big bulky plastic behemoths god intended them to be in. The fake cases just don't do it for me....

There are a lot of $1.99 and $2.99 sports games at the used game stores near me, you could probably buy 20 of them and then sell the loose CDs and manuals in a lot to get half of your cash back.

I agree, Saturn and Sega CD games in DVD cases look awful. I like the look of the big jewelcases, no way does a DVD case match up... Yes, they crack easily, but they look great, and I like the size and shape too. Overall I definitely like them -- but I do like larger packages for games. My favorite kind of game packaging, for instance, is '90s PC game boxes, when they were huge and awesome. :) Small jewelcases are just pathetic in comparison... DVD cases are better, but somehow despite their durability I've just never loved them.

I don't mind the look of the DVD style replacments. Yea, nearly everyone would prefer to have the originals complete but if all you have is a pile of disc only cases its a good way to display them.
