Hiya, does anyone know when secret of cape west is out in the uk? i have heard its the 17th of september, can anyone confirm.

I thought the company that made Hotel Dusk went out of business after Again came out?

They did (Cing)... but Last Window (its proper title) was already close to the end of translation at that point, and I believe Nintendo are publishing it themselves now. 17th September is the listed release date for it in Europe, there is no current date set for the US. Slightly annoying, the date that is, because the next Layton game is out the previous week... and so the run up to Xmas begins...

If it does come out in North America I'll be sure to get it. I also didn't hear about Again before, I haven't seen it for sale anywhere, yet it supposedly was released back in April.

Appparently Again is VERY VERY bad...totally unlike Hotel Dusk :( The reviews said that they deserved to go out of business it was so bad.

If this other one gets decent reviews, I'll import a Euro copy :)

Too bad about Cing. I wonder if someone is going to release the Trace Memory sequel in the US/Canada? I liked the first one.

You could always import it. I had to do that with Touch Darts after months of no USA release. I found it on Ebay (from England) for less than what it was when it eventually came out here (even after shipping). The only difference between the US and EU version was the fact that they had a few word diirences (ie. color vs. colour)

True, at least the games are compatible worldwide so I could play a European copy if needed. I'm just cheap with DS games now and buy most of them used or on clearance(around $10 or less), it would be harder to do if I needed to import it and I doubt I would come across a used copy locally for cheap.

I'm still hoping to come across rare/valuable Genesis imports locally so I can get them really cheap, so far I haven't found any. LOL

I have a nice Chinese Genesis 6 in 1 import that I found at a flea market for $.50. Sure, some would call it a bootleg but it's still an import LOL

NCSX sold it when it was first released but not anymore. Play Asia and Amazon's UK site still have it though and I put it on my Christmas list for my girlfriend to get for me :)

There's several sites selling the game, though many are european sites they would most likely ship worldwide. Just check to make sure. Or maybe you could ask a forum member who lives there to mail you a copy.

Any clever new ideas on securing a copy of this? (If I had any sense I would just get over it and use my R4. I have no sense.)

I was thinking I might be able to snag a copy if I happen to end up in Paris later this year, but are all European versions of the game identical, aside from packaging? Twenty Euros on Amazon.fr isn't a bad deal at all, but while I might be able to live with a French manual, playing the whole game in French is a bit unappealing.

It's 18 quid new on Amazon UK. Sadly Amazon don't send outside of region for videogames. I really can't remember for this game if there was a language selection or not.

Actually, it's worth a try... I successfully ordered a Doctor Who DS game from Amazon UK, and received it just fine.

Was it a third party seller or misclassified? I know for a fact if the item is classified by Amazon UK as a videogame, they will not ship to the US. For some reason, Amazon Germany will.

Hm, not sure... I thought it was Amazon, but I can't swear to it. The order history and email say "Sold by: Amazon EU S.a.r.L." though. No clue about category.

I've arranged to get a copy from Amazon.fr , which is slightly cheaper than Amazon UK.
