Long story, but I needed an AC adapter for my SNES. I've been having a hell of a time finding one and I found a few that were broken.

I gave up and got a retroAC universal adapter. It works for NES, SNES and (apparently) Genesis.

I was going to leave it plugged into my NES toploader and SNES, and only turn one on at a time.

Does anyone see a problem with this?

The box is different but I think it's the same as this:

I'd play it safe and only keep it connected to a single system. Never know if the adapter would act weird being plugged into more than system. Even with the other console off wouldn't it still draw a tiny bit of power?

I don't think you can hook up 3 systems to it at the same time. I would guess that "3 in 1" means that you can use it on any of the 3 systems. I thought I heard something a while back about the Genesis AC adapters having different polarity though. How would this work around that?

No idea. It says it works with genesis. I can't use it for genesis as my day to day genesis is played on cdx with uses a diff ac adapter.

I'm just going to use it for superbas and that's all. I don't want to risk my modded toploader with a generic ac adapter.
