I'm a newbie here and have a question. I don't play online just the single player mode. Looking to see which game is better, Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare GOTY edition or Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Any opinions are greatly appreciated,thanks.

Both single player experiences are short. I'd go with MW2.

I loved the single player in CoD 4. I didn't finish the single player in Modern Warfare 2. I don't know what it was, but to me, CoD 4's campaign was a lot better. It's probably cheaper so I'd pick it over Modern Warfare 2. Also, isn't the GOTY Edition the same as the normal edition, except for the DLC (which is for multiplayer?)?

That might be a good point. If you're worried about price, just get CoD4.

Yes.

Yes and No. It was recently discovered on here (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=147154) that the newer re-prints of COD4 GOTY comes with absolutely nothing.

ya for me cod 2 still is the most special in my heart, just because I will never forget that day I walked into best buy and saw the demo for it on the fancy hdtv, and was just blown away. MW2 was good for a couple months, but just didnt live up to what it should of been. world at war would be a good choice too.
