I just bought an SNES cart that's dead mint except for one thing: a small patch of scuffs on the front half of the plastic. Is there anything I can do to sort of 'buff them out' or at least minimize its appearance? I know it's tough and that there's probably not much I can do since the plastic on SNES carts is textured, but I figured it would be worth asking. :-/

what game is it? i would be happy if a game worked and label wasn't messed up but i have took some games apart before and cleaned in the sink. that seems to clean stuff.
If the texture is gone, its gone. You could remove the texture around it but thats not going to do anything for you.

Whatever you do, don't use a magic eraser on it. If you rub too hard you'll sand off the texture completely. Once the texture is gone, it's gone.
Guess that doesn't really help you now, but it could in the future.

You can use a Magic Eraser as long as you aren't aggressive with it. It's probably your best option overall.
