I'm starting to collect games for the SNES (boxed or loose), now I'm at 26 games and I would like to know how much they're worth in total. Not that I plan on selling them (I don't think I'll ever do that), it's just for my personal knowledge. I found all of them at local stores or flea markets.
Games are :
ActRaiser
ActRaiser 2
Chrono Trigger
Donkey Kong Country *Complete with box and intructions*
Donkey Kong Country 2
Donkey Kong Country 3
Earthbound
E.V.O.: Search for Eden *With box*
Final Fantasy III *Complete except poster.*
Gradius III
Illusion of Gaia
Kirby Super Star
Secret of Mana
Soul Blazer
Starfox
Super Castlevania IV
Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts
Super Mario All-Stars
Super Mario Kart
Super Mario RPG
Super Mario World
Super Mario World 2 : Yoshi's Island
Super Turrican 2
Tetris Attack
The 7th Saga
The Legend of Zelda : ALttP
I'd also like to know how rare are the EVO box and Super Turrican 2, as I think they're my rarest finds.
So that's all I have for now, I don't have a lot of money so I can't buy a lot of games. :beaten:

You ought to be able to find the prices on most of these by doing a completed listing search on Ebay. EVO w/ box is likely around $100, and Super Turrican 2 is, I believe, $50, but I haven't looked up the value of that one in awhile.
Pretty impressive that you found all these "in the wild," particularly a boxed EVO. I've gotten the game twice, once from Craigslist, but I still need a box for it, and it's likely going to be the toughest to find box I need. XD

I'm just curious....how much on average do you think you paid per game? I've found some cool stuff at flea markets too, but I don't get to them often.

I would say around 550.00, although that's just a quick estimate.

I would go with that as well. It's a pretty nice selection of a majority of the choice SNES titles.

I went game by game adding them up in my head and got about $530. Seems as good of an estimate as any.

I came up with about $375 as a conservative estimate. But it could easily reach up to the $500 range.

particularly a boxed EVO
It's the only EVO I saw in real life. I wasn't sure if I had to buy it or not, finally I did for 80$.
I think I have luck with some games in flea markets, as I saw 2 Earthbounds (paid mine 90$ loose, seems to be a normal price these days), maybe 3 or 4 Chrono Triggers sometimes complete, and a lot of FFIIIs with a box. I have yet to see Lufia II, Dracula X or MegaMan X3, and I want them so bad.
All the sellers seem to know the prices unfortunately, so I never find great deals. And then there are overpriced games, such as Super Mario World loose in bad shape for 40$ and SMB/DH for 20$... that makes me mad.

The swapmeet I go to has a lot of "dealers" (ie people who know the going rate and charge twice that), but also plenty of junk sellers. The junk sellers don't usually have anything great, but usually price all the games the same, so when they DO have something worth picking up, it's usually cheap. One guy started looking games up on Ebay after selling Snow Bros for $5, to give the idea of the finds you might luck into. Last trip I picked up Donkey Kong Country 3 for $6, and passed on Battletoads, Pocky & Rocky and Mystical Ninja for under $10 apiece. No spectacular finds, but plenty of good stuff if you're just trying to add to your collection. Best thing I picked up was a $5 GBA SP NES Edition. Lady said it didn't work, but I tested it out and didn't see any problems.

Is that the one in Lakewood? I haven't been there since it moved, about the same size still?

I think so... Tacoma/Lakewood? It's called Star something, like Stardust, but that's not it. Starwood? Starlight? I've only been there a handful of times, and only recently, so no idea if it's the same size or not. LOL
