What are the best soccer, tennis, and baseball games for the NES and SNES systems

I think that Super Tennis was the best Tennis game on the SNES. Some people really like the Jimmy Connors Tennis game, although I've never played that one, or even seen that one, for that matter.

As for the Baseball question. On the NES it has to be either Baseball Stars or Bases Loaded. I was actually in a league way back in 1988 or 1987, I can't remember, with that Bases Loaded game. I had the best record in our league, won the division and made it to the playoffs, only to be beaten by the team with the worst record to still make the playoffs. I think Bases Loaded II came out on the NES too, but I never played that game. I had moved on to the Turbo Grafx, and a wonderful baseball game called World Class Baseball.

As for Baseball on the Super Nintendo, well that's a hard one. I honestly don't think that any one Super Nintendo baseball game really outshone the others. Bases Loaded was a big dissapointment on the 16 bit level in my opinion. Some people really like Ken Griffey, but that game was too arcadish for my tastes.

When it comes to Soccer on the Super Nintendo, I would have to give International SuperStar Soccer Deluxe the nod. Great graphics for it's time, and solid gameplay.

I think the best sports game period on the SNES was NBA Live 98. That game is a sweet simulation of NBA Basketball for a 16 bit machine.

Regarding baseball games...

On the NES, I prefer Dusty Diamond's All-Star Softball and R.B.I. Baseball 1, 2 & 3.

On SNES, I prefer the Famista (aka Family Stadium) series, though it was only released in Japan, and the first Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball (The sequel was garbage, IMHO, along with all the R.B.I. Baseball games on SNES.).

It's been YEARS since I've played a NES or SNES tennis or soccer game. I DO remember playing the original Tennis on NES, and Megaman Soccer on SNES. I don't remember them being too bad.

SNES Super Tennis by far the best game.

I enjoyed Mega Man Soccer for SNES. Fifa is what you will probably go with though. That game is easier to find and cheaper than mega man.

Soccer

NES: Nintendo World CUp, Goal! or Konami Hyper Soccer

SNES: International Superstar Soccer Deluxe! Great graphics, great gameplay, and it's still great!
Soccer Shootout seems good too.

Tennis

NES: Tennis

SNES: Super Tennis probably. Smash Tennis doesn't look too bad I guess.

My favorite baseball game on the SNES was Relief Pitcher. You didn't play full games, you got put into game breaking situations late in the game. I really like that one.

Most of the rest of the good sports games have already been mentioned.
