Either is fine. I've got a black Game Gear that turns itself off. Usually within moments, even with a Genesis 2 AC adapter. I'd be happy if you know where to get repair service.
If that isn't an option, or would actually cost way more, I want to buy one a blue system (this (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51nLcl%2BJc%2BL.jpg) model) in full working condition. Must have good sound. I'm well aware of the issues many plaguing GG's these days.
