What type of Saturn controller is good for those like me? The 3D one is about the biggest I've seen. By massive hands, I'm NOT kidding. :bawling:
Near 8 inches from the middle finger tip to where my wrist bends. And like 8-3/4 from little finger tip to thumb tip when stretched out. They're also fairly wide. Makes playing a piano or similar difficult, since often two keys will be hit at once...

Good thought. I haven't used my arcade stick for it in years. Not sure if that still works.
To get a very close reference of the size I'm talking about, it's just taller than a standard DVD movie case.

I feel your pain. My hands are probably even bigger and I've had a hell of a time growing up with controllers. I always seem one step ahead lol

If you're dexterous enough you'll make due. Otherwise, you'll be about as unhappy as with some others.
I used to love the old hamburger Xbox 1 controller.

I have large hands, and the 3D Saturn pad still feels kinda awkward. I think it's the shape, not the size. The original fat Xbox controller feels perfect for me, while the Dreamcast pad feels weird.

Arcade stick and 3D pad seem to be your only choices that I can think of.

My hands are about the same size as yours. Let me tell you, I think that the Saturn model 2 controller is still great for that size hands. It's not the size of the controller; it's the shape.

Dont feel bad man, I just measured my hands and mine are just barely shy of 8inches from tip of middle finger to wrist. I don't have a saturn so can't help you with that, but can say that I know your pain of having to deal with controllers made for tiny hands. Soldiering through constant hand cramps is not fun.

The only thing bad about the Saturn 3D controller is that some games will not boot up with it plugged in, like "In the Hunt."

Dude is the 3D controller too small? or do you just not like it.
Because the 3D controller is massive (one of my favorite controllers of all time too!)

Just use a PS pad for a while and you'll never notice a problem with Saturn pads again... PS pads are the most painful pads ever made, unless you have child sized hands... it's prolly far less painful to just have nails driven through your hands instead!

Doesn't sound like your hands are terribly large compared to what is average. I'd say my hands are just about normal and I'm just shy of the length of a DVD case after just checking.

I have the same size hands and the model 2 Saturn controller is still the best. I don't really grip it fully though.
I also like the original "Duke" Xbox controller. I got an adapter that lets me use it on PS2/PS3 as well. Now if only there is an Xbox-to-Saturn adapter.
