Hi!

Anyone have any thoughts about the current value for a sealed SNES Link to the Past? The original, not the greatest hits.

eBay's completed auctions, aren't much help. Just a few sales that didn't sell because of their high prices, and only one for an origianl version. I guess I know how much it isn't worth. :P

Also, is it legit? It checks out with everything I know to look for, but that's not saying much. I don't have any experience in verifying these things.

Thanks!

Whoa I've never seen a top seam like this:

I can't confirm if it is factory or resealed. If it were factory, based on it's condition, I'd think maybe $150-$200? It certainly goes for more than that when MINT but this copy is not that pristine.

You wouldn't happen to be near NOA HQ by any chance, would you?

Not sure how much it helps but I just sold a sealed greatest hits version a couple weeks ago for $100

They used to be up here near Seattle, but moved a couple of years ago. I got to go their headquarters once and check out the employee store. That was a blast.

I didn't buy this Zelda game there, but I figure someone else did. I found this in a taped up SNES storage box at a Goodwill about 30 minutes from where Nintendo used to be located. It had an old yellow SNES in it, another boxed but unsealed SNES game, and 4 or 5 not for resale carts for the SNES and N64.

NOA is still headquartered in Redmond, WA.

Yeah, I would say this is legit based on proximity to NOA HQ.

Go get the NFS carts right now. The Majora's Mask one can make you some nice bank if you find it.

Oops! Shows what I know!

They at least moved something. My company used to do work with Nintendo but then they had a re-org or something that sent all of the producers we were working with to New York (and maybe a couple to San Francisco? Not sure.) This lead to our work from them drying up as a lot of our contacts didn't accept the transfers.

I just assumed they had moved the entire operation out of town. Which was just me being lazy and not getting the whole story straight.

Okay, so they're still here, except maybe minus a department or two. Which makes sense because come to think of it, my neighbors still talk about going to the Nintendo store from time to time.

Thanks everyone!
Sounds like it's somewhere between $100-$150.
So I'm going to throw it up on Craigslist for $160 and see what happens. :P

Thanks again!
