I would like to know more about the option to install games to the 360's hard drive. Is this available for all 360 games, or just certain titles? How do you perform the installation? Was this feature on all 360s or was it added later? My 360 was made in 3/08. Thanks in advance for any help!

Also, what is the best way to be informed about firmware updates with improved features or game patches that fix gameplay problems? My 360 is not usually online. How do you find out about firmware updates and game patches for the PS3? It is not online either.

About the patches, some (all???) games carry patches on the disc and the 360 will install them.

I still have not been able to find out if the install option is available for all 360 games or just certain titles?

Thanks

The web site says to go to "My Xbox" on the dashboard, but I have the older dashboard with the blades. I don't think it has a "My Xbox" section, does it?

Thanks!

After looking at the second link provided, it sounds like you have to have the New Xbox Experience dashboard to have the option to install. Is this correct? As my 360 has the old blade dashboard, do you think it would be worth it to update to the newer one? If I only play this 360 system occasionally, (as I will probably get a newer system for a second 360) would it wear out the disc drive if I continue to play games from the disc?

Thanks for your help!
