I'm seriously liking the looks of this. (http://www.sonicstadium.org/blog/2010/08/25/new-2-5d-sonic-project-showcases-mushroom-hill-zone/)

I'll express the mandatory disappointment when it eventually turns out to be a fake but seriously, if this is a genuine Sega production, it's jumped straight to the top of my 'must buy' list.

I'm pretty sure it's not an official Sega project, or a game at all. However, it looks fucking amazing.

That's fan-made I think. Looks fucking ridiculous though.

If Sonic 4 looks as good as that, I'm definitely buying it.

Not sure how many of you here have seen this, but it's pretty awesome:

Now apparently it's not actually a game, just a very clever animation. But it's been getting lots of attention with people saying it puts Sonic 4 to shame, looks amazing and shows what could be done with Sonic, say on the 3DS. Sega have commented on it earlier today and they sound pretty narked off about it:

"We’ve seen it for the love of Tikal, we’ve seen it! Honestly, I’ve been bombarded with all sorts of messages some very excited, some downright rude, telling “SEGA” in no uncertain terms about the video. Truth is we saw it hours ago and think it looks absolutely awesome. Sadly for some of you the video is indeed that, a fan video, not even a fangame. Still very nice indeed. Sonic Stadium seem on the ball with finding out all the details so I’d recommend there for further information."

Thoughts?

I don't think they came off bitter about it, just sounds like they're trying to get people to realize that they've seen the vid and to stop sending them messages about it.

Well that's what I thought but I noticed forums on other sites were reading it that way. Was curious to see what the peeps here thought.

It's well done but I don't care for it.

What Sega should've done with Sonic 4 is just follow Capcom's lead with Mega Man 9/10 and create something that looks like it was done during the Genesis era and plays like it was.

What's going to torpedo this release is their attempts to innovate and grow the game, something they've consistently failed at for a decade and a half now. From the hands on reports I've seen so far, Sega's set to release another disappointment in a long line of disappointments.

Yeah I imagine that there were some fans acting like Sega were being pissy with their response.

It seemed more like Sega is annoyed with all the fanboys telling them about it, than them being upset about the video being made.

Then you shouldn't be posting in here. This thread is for doll salesmen, real doll documentary enthusiasts, doll douching experts, and those who aspire to either own, or have partial ownership in a sex doll.

Everyone else should just keep moving...

Damn it, I must have read the title wrong, I'll just leave Sothy alone with his Sarah Palin sex doll.

I did happen to see an anime blow up doll at a Spensers, thought about getting it for a friend as a joke gift.
