Hi everyone, I've started running a weekly live stream called "Multi Tap: Classic Console Showcase" from Justin.TV (http://www.justin.tv/mugenmidget), dedicated to (naturally) classic consoles. Right now our plan is to stream every Saturday at 9 PM Central Standard Time. The stream features the Atari 7800, NES, SNES, Sega Genesis (32X, CD, Master System), Sega Saturn, and Nintendo 64. There is also a bit of "modern" gaming involved, but only as far as the PS2 and Gamecube for now.
The stream is named "Multi Tap" to represent the variety of consoles being tapped into as well as the fact that one of our main goals is to highlight the multiplayer modes found in these classic games. I feel especially now with the clamor over online gaming that the fun that can be had with these older games and their local multiplayer is sometimes overlooked, and it's my hope that by showcasing these modes that people may become interested in seeking out some of these games and having their own get togethers.
At the moment the stream is relatively new, so we're still working out how to make it interesting for people who might tune in. Ventrilo panels with guest speakers as well as fun little contests during broadcasts for prize giveaways have been suggested in the past, so we'll definitely work towards making that happen.
If you have any ideas for things that would make this broadcast fun/interesting for you, please do not hesitate to contact me about them. I am always receptive to criticism and hope I can make this entertaining for gaming enthusiasts.
This Saturday, in order to celebrate the arrival of my new capture device (the Gamebridge I've used previously freaks out on Genesis/Atari signals), I will be streaming exclusively from the Sega Genesis console and its add-ons! So if there are any Sega Genesis games with awesome multiplayer that you think should be highlighted, let me know! Of course, other awesome Sega games are welcome. You can see some suggestions already made from people at Sega-16 and our forums:

I hope I'll see some of you there in the chat room!
