While rummaging around for some past years' Classic Gaming Expo photos, I stumbled into a folder of pictures supplied by one of our assistants, Don Rogers. These didn't make the cut for the "recap" but they're truly terrific images. Thought I'd pass some of it along.

You can get a much bigger picture by clicking on one.

The Atari2600.com booth, one of the Expo's perennial awesome displays of vintage product

Very few get to experience this from any other angle - the "alumni dinner" on Friday night, at the bar and just after the dinner itself. If you look closely you'll see the likes of David "Pitfall" Crane, Al "Pong" Alcorn, Jay "Vectrex" Smith and other industry legends. Our contest winner l_lamb will get to experience this from the inside and should have a great story to tell you afterwards.

The Digital Press booth, which prides itself on diversity. Last year was big for Super NES and Genesis stuff, but just WAIT until you see our booth this year! NOTE: That's Dave "Arcade Antics" Giarrusso looking relaxed while Larry "retrogmr" Anderson works the customers. In the background, the sadly retired Ward Shrake.

The AtariAge booth, have you ever seen Albert or Joe Grand work so hard? :P

The Dragon's Lair guys signing autographs. This is everyone who made the game (and Space Ace) happen, folks.

A small section of the CGE Arcade. This was just before Sunday's show... my dream is to walk up to this bank of arcades when no one is around! NOTE: this crummy carpeting has finally been replaced.

I don't like showing pictures of the CGE Museum because ONLY being there in person does it any justice, but here's a glimpse of the handheld section.

One of my personal contributions to the show are these lovely kiosks, purchased from my buddy Curt Vendel, who personally crafted them.

The Intellivision booth is always fun, and they always create their own entertainment and events.

I won't be able to sleep tonight thinking about this year's show.

I may be the youngest person there but I'll have a hell of a time!

You're sixteen, right? You won't be the youngest! It may be an older crowd overall but there are people of all shapes, sizes, and ages about.

I wonder how much the value of my CD-i Space Ace box would increase if I had it signed? Hehe.

Those kiosks looks great; that goes without saying.

One of these days we need to put up a booth with just classic 1980s-early 1990s Japanese stuff, that would be sweet :)

I'm not sure if you're kidding, but since it's entirely possible you're not:
