Hey all,
I ever wondered if it is possible to safe Snes Roms (like never outside of Japan published games such as Bahamut Lagoon or Fire Emblem) onto a Ram memory module of a Snes module to play this game on your real snes console.
Something like it should be possible, right? What equipment is needed for such a thing? Would it be possible to do for a noob like me ?(who isnt familiar with such things)

It's entirely possible and people have been doing it ever since games first started coming out of cartridge. What you're looking for is either a flash cart or a reproduction cart. It wouldn't be ram memory(as that goes away when power is removed) but either flash or EEPROM chips.

Yes, i think EEPROM chips are needed for that. But then you also need a EEPROM Writer and so on. Honestly i dont have a clue regarding this things, so i thought it might be better to ask someone, who has done such things already...

You need to talk to bartre. He does really good work. He's finishing up Star Ocean on SNES for me right now. It looks amazing so far. If it has a translated rom (or not if you read Japanese), I'm pretty sure he can do it no problem.
I just had a repro of The Legend of Zelda: Outlands made for NES. Got it yesterday. It's awesome. PM me if you want the link to the guy who made it for me. He's not on this site as far as I know (or just ask someone on here who's done them, I'm sure they're great too...I'd rather support this site's community if at all possible :) )

Getting something like this (http://www.snescentral.com/article.php?id=0993) would be exactly what you are looking for.

For authencity reasons, i want to have the game on only one cartdrige with printed label. Its also a lot cheaper, but hard to make. :(
